Great Amazing Race raise money for the Royal Children’s Hospital Foundation

Our Teddy team had a wonderful time at the "Great Amazing Race" creating a variety fun and challenging surgery, anatomy and face painting activities for over 300 teams to complete.  Together the event raised over $21,000 for the Royal Children's Hospital Foundation.

Running since 2005, Uplift Events has been proudly supporting the Royal Children's Hospital Foundation with public fundraising events, having raised over $126, 000 to date. The Great Amazing Race event is considered Melbourne's Ultimate Urban Adventure Race, designed to challenge and excite competitors. After receiving the clue sheet at the start of the race, teams of two need to decipher the clues and map out the best route for the race and try to complete all the mandatory stages in the least amount of time.The Teddy Bear Hospital was located in the Royal Children's Hospital Foundations new Fundraising Resource Centre. Participants were encouraged to review their Teddy Anatomy, conduct Teddy surgery and practice their face painting skills with our Teddy Doctors and Allied Health professionals before receiving their next clue.
