More than 1200 medicine, nursing, dentistry, physiotherapy, audiology, optometry, biomedical, science, speech pathology and social work students raised $26,429 by running a Teddy Bear Hospital for the Royal Children’s Hospital (RCH) Good Friday Appeal.
Teddy Bear Hospital (TBH) is a world-wide initiative which aims to reduce childhood fear of the healthcare system, enhancing the communication skills of health professionals when dealing with children.
The Good Friday Appeal Teddy Bear Hospital was a huge success treating over 3600 sick, sniffily teddies and raising more than $23,000 for The Royal Children's Hospital.

sniffily teddies and raising more than $10,000 for The Royal Children's
Hospital Good Friday Appeal.
Our Teddy team had a wonderful time at the "Great Amazing
Race" creating a variety fun and challenging surgery, anatomy and face painting
activities for over 300 teams to complete. Together the event raised over $21,000 for the
Royal Children's Hospital Foundation.
